Services and Scheduling

Water damage restoration services are subject to availability and the condition of the property. We confirm scope and pricing before or at the start of work whenever possible. Because the full extent of water damage is not always visible up front, actual pricing may adjust if hidden moisture, additional affected materials, or other conditions differ from the initial assessment.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at our discretion, including situations involving unsafe conditions, structural hazards, hazardous materials, or contamination that falls outside the scope of standard water mitigation.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

For scheduled appointments, we ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation or trip fee. Emergency and overnight calls may carry different terms, which we will communicate when you book.

Access and Entry

You are responsible for providing safe, clear access to the affected areas. If our team cannot access the property at the scheduled time due to lockouts, incorrect codes, or other access issues, a trip charge may apply. Any access instructions, keys, or codes you provide are handled with care and used solely for the purpose of your scheduled service.

Your Property

We take reasonable care with your property while performing mitigation and restoration work. Restoration sometimes requires removing wet or unsalvageable materials, such as drywall, flooring, or insulation, in order to dry the structure properly. Where possible, we will discuss this with you before proceeding. If damage occurs as a direct result of our work, notify us within 24 hours so we can assess and address it. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, the underlying water damage itself, normal wear and tear, or damage to items that are improperly secured.

Please secure valuables, fragile items, and important documents before our arrival.

Equipment on Site

We bring our own equipment, including extractors, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters, unless otherwise agreed. Drying equipment is often left running on site for several days. To protect the drying process, you agree not to move, unplug, or turn off this equipment without our guidance. We are not responsible for reactions to the standard cleaning and antimicrobial products used during restoration.

Payment and Insurance

We bill your insurance carrier directly and provide the documentation your adjuster needs to process the claim. The insurance company may reimburse costs depending on your policy. Renew Restoration is not a party to your insurance policy and cannot make coverage decisions. The service agreement is between you and Renew Restoration, and payment responsibility ultimately remains with the customer for services authorized and performed, including your deductible and any amounts your insurer does not cover. We will make every reasonable effort to work with your carrier and assist you throughout the claim process. For work that is not filed through insurance, payment is due upon completion unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Satisfaction

If you have a concern about any part of our work, contact us promptly and we will return to review the specific areas of concern and make it right where the issue resulted from our work.

Limitation of Liability

Renew Restoration's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including damage caused by the original water event itself.
